“To design a game is to imagine the person who will play it.”

With a background in hospitality, Ahmed looks to creativity with the player in mind. Mechanics, events, stories, or just ideas all lead to joy for the player above all else.  Evocative play requires emotional buy-in. Implemented into each game lies a question for players, who may think of it in and out of game. These questions build the subtext of the game, reflecting our own experiences. How do we deal with a future with recurring disasters? How does society treat the ill, weak, and lost? Can we use play to relate to others emotionally in an educational setting? The combination of player-first designing and evocative themes creates a powerful combination of play.
